We support you on becoming a surrogate mother and matching with the right intended parents.

Being a gestational surrogate is the most wonderful gift you can give to a family. At Harvest, we support you on every step of your journey, from matching with intended parents all the way through the birth. Compensation is up to $90,000 and you get a $1,000 as soon as the contract is signed. You must have legal status in the US and previous deliveries.

Basic requirements for surrogates before starting the screening process

- Age between 21 and 37 years old.
- BMI is under 32.
- You must have had at least one child of your own.
- You must have a legal status in the US.

The whole process will happen in California, so it's preferred that you reside in the state (although it is not mandatory). Additionally, we choose surrogates with healthy and responsible lifestyles and habits, such as being non-smokers, with clean criminal record and who accept to undergo medical, psychological and drug screenings. If this sounds like you or someone you know, click the button below or fill the form at the bottom of this page and one of our representatives will reach out to you shortly to proceed with the screening.

We'll assist in scheduling your in-person medical and psychological screening. (If you have a partner, they will be screened as well.) Screening results typically take 2 weeks.

Application Process to Matching

Your application is reviewed within 1 business day. We may contact you with any additional questions.

Once your application is accepted, we’ll schedule a phone consult where we’ll discuss any questions or concerns.

Next we'll submit paperwork to complete your profile for intended parents for matching.

You can meet the intended parents in person or through video call.

Once Matched, It’s Time for Screening.

We’ll make all your travel arrangements and appointments. Depending on where you’re coming from you may stay overnight. Screening consists of two appointments:

  • a medical screening with our IVF Physician
  • a psychological screening with Fertility Counseling Services

Remember that you will be reimbursed for child care. Clearance should be received within two weeks. Once screening & medical clearance is complete, your match is official.

To be matched with intended parents, a short wait time (about 1-2 weeks for vast majority) occurs. Specific preferences may cause longer wait times, but generally no longer than a month.

After the Positive Pregnancy Test

You will have a pregnancy test about 10 days past transfer.

Around 8 weeks pregnant, you will be transferred to an obstetrician in your area.

Harvest will continue to support you and the intended parents throughout the entire pregnancy and beyond.

Most hospitals are great with surrogacy births. In preparation for the birth we will encourage you and your intended parents to:

  • attend a hospital tour to familiarize yourselves with the facility
  • create a birth plan to make sure the hospital staff know an upcoming surrogate birth

Virtually all intended parents want to be present at the birth and do their absolute best to be there. However, we all know sometimes babies arrive earlier than expected, so be prepared for anything.

How Harvest Began

Our company started March 2012. An intended parent himself, our CEO and his wife were unable to carry a baby on their own. After many trying times, he went through the IVF and surrogacy process in 2010.
Their twins were born in 2011.

After experiencing the magic of the surrogacy process himself, he decided to open up
a surrogacy company to offer this wonderful opportunity to more families.

He knows how it feels to struggle and wants to help you make your family dream a reality.

We'll help you complete your dream!

Our team, composed of experienced egg donors, surrogates, and parents have all experienced one part or another of your journey to parenthood. We value seeing things from your perspective.

Nothing is more important than family. We will be here every step of the way.

Performing surrogacy is incredibly fulfilling, and our generous compensation will free you to pursue other dreams.
